Welcome to Hastings Valley Archery Club
Hastings Valley Archery Club is located on the beautiful Mid North Coast of New South Wales, Australia, nestled between Port Macquarie and Wauchope.
We are a socially oriented club open to everyone—archery is a sport for the whole family, regardless of age or ability! While our primary focus is the '3D' style of archery (shooting at life-sized rubber animal targets in a forest setting), we welcome archers of all styles.
Our club is non-competitive and unaffiliated with any formal archery organizations such as Archery Australia, ABA, or 3DAAA. However, we encourage members interested in competitive archery to join and make use of our facilities.
New and Experienced Archers Welcome
If you’re new to archery, we invite you to attend one of our ‘Come and Try Archery’ Open Days, where tuition is provided. Please note that we do not offer lessons on regular club shoot days.
Experienced archers are welcome to join and participate in our next club shoot. Before applying for membership, please read the ‘'Become a member' page thoroughly and follow the link at the bottom to complete your application.
Archers from other clubs or associations are also welcome to join us for regular shoots, provided they present proof of club or association membership.
When and Where We Shoot
Regular club shoots are held on Sunday mornings, with occasional special events on other days. Some weekends, such as long weekends or Mother’s/Father’s Day, may be skipped. We also take a break over Christmas and January. Check our Event Schedule for details.
Our range is conveniently located just minutes down the Pacific Highway on the Wauchope side, at the corner of Burrawan Forest Drive & Cowarra Access Road - opposite the Go-Kart Track. The club operates on NSW State Forest land under a permit from Forestry Corporation of NSW.
Club Guidelines
- Smoke-Free Zone: We maintain a smoke-free environment - no smoking or vaping is permitted on club grounds.
- Footwear: Enclosed footwear is mandatory for all shooters.
- Clothing: For safety reasons, camouflage tops are not permitted on the range, as they may make individuals less visible to the Range Officer and other participants.
We look forward to welcoming you to Hastings Valley Archery Club and sharing the joy of archery!
