Hastings Valley Archery Club is a Non Profit Organisation, registered with the Office of Fair Trading and has been accredited as a ‘Hunter LEAP Provider’ under clause 12 of the Game and Feral Animal Control Regulation 2012 by the NSW Department of Primary Industries Game Licensing Unit.
The club’s main objective is to promote Archery as family oriented sport for all ages and gender. Apart from the competitive side, we strongly promote the social and fun aspect of the sport. We believe in being an active club that aims to build a healthy and dynamic environment for all our members, with a particular emphasis on encouraging our juniors. The friendly interaction and learning process in a safe and fun environment help make it a unique club.
Members of the public who are interested in trying out archery are welcome to our “Open Day” shoots. Members of the public are encouraged to enquire about the club by contacting one of the officials on the Contacts page.
The Club shoots approx. every fortnight at the clubs grounds (map). The shoot fees on the day are $15/per person and includes a sausage sandwich and cold drink. Equipment can be hired for a fee of $10 per person, which includes the use of a recurve bow or Mathews Genesis compound bow and arrows, arm guards and tabs.
Members from other Archery Clubs/Associations are more than welcomed to join us on our regular shoot days, see calendar for details. Proof of membership of another club/association is required.
